Abstract

This paper reports the occurrence of invasive papaya mealybug, Paracoccus marginatus Williams & Granara de Willink (Hemiptera: Pseudococcidae) on a medicinal herb, Gymnema sylvestre (R.Br) in Gujarat, India. Considering the invasive nature of the pest, a strict monitoring and management with biocontrol agents is advocated.
