Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement
Editorial Board
The journal has an Editorial Board and an elected Executive Council of the Association for Advancement of Pest Management in Horticultural Ecosystems which publishes the journal. All the members of the board and the governing body are recognized experts in the field. The full names, affiliations as well as contact of all the members are provided on the journal’s website and also on the society’s website.
Publication fees/charges
There are no publication or article processing charges. However, the authors who wish to submit their manuscripts to the journal should be an Annual or Life Member of Association for Advancement of Pest Management in Horticultural Ecosystem

Life member: Rs 4,000/-
Annual Member: Rs 1,000/-, US $ 100 (US $ 50 for SAARC Countries)
Authors and Authors responsibilities
Authors are obliged to participate in the peer-review process. All authors should state while submitting manuscripts that they have significantly contributed to the research and the research is not published previously in any journal. Authors should also intimate to the editor if any preprint version is deposited. All authors are obliged to provide retractions, corrections of mistakes, a list of references, financial support, etc.
Blind Review Process
All of a journal’s content is subjected to blind peer-review from experts in the relevant fields. Upon ascertaining the suitability of the submitted manuscript as per the scope and subject matter of the journal by the Editor-in-Chief in consultation with the Associate Editors/Editorial Board, the articles are sent to two or three expert reviewers. The decision of acceptance or rejection of the manuscript is taken after taking into account the reviewer’s comments and the editorial board consultation. Reviewers are asked to provide a statement of no conflict of interest. Reviewers should be pointing out relevant published work which is not yet cited.
Publication ethics
The editors shall take reasonable steps to identify and prevent the publication of papers where research misconduct has occurred. In no case shall a journal or its editors encourage such misconduct, or knowingly allow such misconduct to take place. In the event that a journal’s editors are made aware of any allegation of research misconduct, the editor shall deal with allegations appropriately. The journal’s editorial board takes appropriate means and measures to retract or correct articles when needed. The submissions are checked for plagiarism with the suitable anti-plagiarism software (Turnitin). The publishers and editors should be willing to publish corrections, clarifications, retractions, and apologies when needed.

The authors hold the copyright of the articles published and are licensed under Creative Commons Attribution-Non-Commercial-Share Alike 4.0 International (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0). The journal issue and individual articles are available to readers immediately upon publication free of charge to read, download and share.

The journal is hosted at https://pmhe.in/ and all previous volumes for the last two decades are available under Archives. The articles and volumes are open access and freely available

The Pest Management in Horticultural Ecosystems ‘ is the only journal being published by the Association for Advancement of Pest Management in Horticultural Ecosystems, Bengaluru since 1994.
AAPMHE
The Association for Advancement of Pest Management in Horticultural Ecosystems was started in the year 1994. This professional society with the headquarters at the ICAR-Indian Institute of Horticultural Research, Bengaluru, organizes various scientific programs at the National and International levels viz., conducting brainstorming sessions, workshops, conferences to promote research in horticultural pest management. A scientific journal, Pest Management in Horticultural Ecosystems (PMHE) is published by the society with two issues per year.
Presently the society has around 482 life members apart from patrons/ annual members/ institutions.
